BRASILIDADE: A JAZZ PORTRAIT OF BRAZIL
Brasilidade is a modern Brazilian-Jazz project shaped by rhythm, joy, and companionship.
It reinterprets traditional Brazilian styles through a contemporary lens, blending rich harmonic language with dynamic grooves and collective improvisation.
At its core, the project celebrates the idea of unity in music—where individual voices come together as one, inspired by the spirit of Brazilian musical communities.
The album Brasilidade: A Jazz Portrait Of Brazil travels through diverse Brazilian rhythms, from Samba and Baião to Maracatú and Ijexá, combining tradition with a contemporary jazz sensibility.
The album Brasilidade: A Jazz Portrait Of Brazil by bassist and composer Matheus Prado brings together a good variety of Brazilian musical styles and showcases excellent cohesion within his trio, alongside Leandro Freixo and João Di Sabbato.
The sound quality and the cover design are of a very high standard!
